We have written, published and made available new literacy materials in 5 different languages of India. We believe that is the basic right of every person to read and write. Without this life skill they cannot read the Bible or grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our adult literacy program is aimed at developing learning skills, awareness of health and hygiene, economics as well as social and spiritual development to uplift the community. The first level is a ten month, five-day-a-week program aimed at achieving the proficiency level of a fourth grader.



The next level is a Post-Literacy course that is designed to increase fluency in reading and writing as well as begin a basic grasp of English. Business and economic education is included in the curriculum in order to lessen poverty and raise income levels. They learn book keeping, accounting and investments.

The last level focuses on the growth of Micro-Enterprise, marketing and the economic development of the community.

Stewardship of the body, mind, spirit and resources is the basis for each level of education.
