 lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good tidings, lift it up, do not fear, say to the cities of Judah, ‘Here is your God!’ Isaiah 40:9 Dear People of God: The Christmas Season is filled with the wonder of God’s Presence among us. Each year is a testimony to the amazing change that Jesus brings into people’s lives. As I write this letter there are hundreds of faces that come to mind, each one a testimony to the saving power of Jesus. Men, women, children, whole families and even communities have been changed simply because you have partnered with us to share the love of God in Jesus Christ. There are so many stories to tell and we can well empathize with John when he says in John’s Gospel 20:30 “Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” As the Board of Governors and Directors we want to thank you for you have enabled us in 2008 to share Jesus Christ in some of the most difficult places and in the following ways: 165,000 Bibles & New Testaments were provided 18,000 Children in Vacation Bible School with new curriculum 277 villages with a House Church 3 pieces of land purchased and one church built 10 Adult Literacy centers and a new Primer in the Boro Language With grateful thanks!
